iLIVEiGIVE campaign

00

“The iLIVEiGIVE organ donation campaign, which originated at Torbay Hospital, has now had support from members of international rock band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Drummer Chad Smith, guitarist Josh Klinghoffer and bass player Flea have all posed in the campaign t-shirts during a recent visit to Cape Town, one of the many stops on their current world tour.

The iLIVEiGIVE campaign has two main aims; to increase the number of people signing up to the organ donor register and to encourage people to share their feelings regarding organ donation with their loved ones in order to avoid additional upset and anxiety when the time comes for a decision to be made.

Campaign t-shirts are being used to spread the message via social media with people posting images on Facebook and Twitter of themselves wearing the t-shirts whilst going about their normal lives.”
