Crossbeat Magazine – March, 2012 (Japan)
People say nobody can fill John Frusciante’s big shoes. But it’s not correct. People say Josh Klinghoffer is a side man of Frusciante. But it’s wrong. He is also very talented musician as well as Frusciante. The guitarist, born in 1979, has a wide range of musical background from 90’s. He got into Red Hot Chili Pepoers, Pearl Jam and Radiohead in his young age and has experience playing with variety of veteran musicians from Rock to Hip Hop. Furthermore, he is a multi-instrumentalist who play drums, guitars and keys etc. In his first studio album with The Peppers, I’m With You, he still remains a shadow of Frusciante, but we can expect that he explores more his style in the next album.
